It depends on how many bathrooms you have and your water pressure. Most homes with one bathroom suit a combi; larger homes may need a system boiler with a cylinder. We’ll recommend the right size — never oversized.

A like-for-like swap usually takes one day. Moving the boiler or changing the system can take two to three days.

If your boiler is under 10 years old and the fault is a single part, a repair is usually best. If it’s older and breaking down often, we’ll tell you honestly whether a new boiler would save you money.

Diagnosis and the first hour is £79. We’ll give you the full price, including parts, before we start.
