This policy explains what personal information Central Gas Heating & Plumbing Plus LTD (“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it. We are the data controller under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email, address and postcode when you book, contact us or request a quote
- Descriptions, photos and videos you send us about the problem
- Details of work carried out, certificates and invoices
- Technical data needed to run the website (such as your language choice) and, only with your consent, anonymous visit statistics
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for (contract)
- To meet legal obligations, such as gas safety records and accounting
- To send service or CP12 reminders you asked for (consent / legitimate interest)
- To improve the website, only if you accept analytics cookies (consent)
How long we keep it
Job records and invoices are kept for 6 years to meet tax rules. Enquiries that don’t become jobs are deleted within 12 months. Reminders are deleted whenever you ask.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with providers we need to run the business (website hosting, email, accounting software) and where the law requires it.
Your rights
